Video: SNL Cold Open Puts Baldwin On Fox & Friends, With Egg McMuffin

If you’ve never watched Fox & Friends, the president’s favorite cable news program — or  especially if you have suffered that misfortune — then Saturday Night Live has a treat for you. This week’s SNL cold open severely spoofs Steve Doocy (Alex Moffat), Ainsley Earhardt (Heidi Gardner), and Brian Kilmeade (Beck Bennett), the trio of Trump sycophants who host the Fox morning show, a primary source of dubious information that reaches the leader of the free world.

The hosts know Trump is watching: “Whether you’re fixin’ your breakfast or gettin’ dressed for work — or layin’ in the Lincoln Bedroom tweetin’ with an Egg McMuffin on your chest, hello!” cries Earhardt in earnest greeting. Their idiotic repartee is hilariously true to life, with special guests including the legally jeopardized Hope Hicks (Cecily Strong), the ominous Louis Farrakhan (Chris Redd), and of course their biggest fan (Alec Baldwin).

Brandishing his Egg McMuffin, he’s eager to impart various “alternative facts” concerning recent events, from the number of people who watched his State of the Union address to his special place in presidential history, and much more. Don’t miss his first guest shot of 2018.

Killing Abortion Ban Repeal

With little more than six months until Election Day, Donald Trump is preparing for an “authoritarian” presidency, and a massive, multi-million dollar operation called Project 2025, organized by The Heritage Foundation and headed by a former top Trump White House official, is proposing what it would like to be his agenda. In its 920-page policy manual the word “abortion” appears nearly 200 times.
